Upcoming Events

A message from Dr. Karen:

My patients’ health and safety are my highest priority, so it's with sadness that I announce we are postponing the March and April Toast to Midlife sessions.

Too bad, we always have such a good time at those events!

But we can't take the (very real) risk of spreading the COVID-19 virus, and folks over 60 are considered to be more at risk than others.

Check the OHSU Center for Women's Health website for information regarding rescheduling plans, and for refund info if you've already registered. Remember the basics for dealing with the pandemic: wash your hands for 20 seconds frequently.  Avoid touching your mouth and nose.  Postpone air or cruise travel.  If you feel sick, stay home until you feel better.  If you have a fever of 100.4 or more PLUS either a cough or shortness of breath, call your primary care doctor.  Don't just show up at a care facility!

The CDC website is the best place for the most current information. Stay calm but don't put yourself in harm's way unnecessarily.

Take care of yourself and those you love!  Dr. Karen
